Halfway Through 2025 – Time for a Gut Check

As we reach the halfway mark of 2025, it’s a natural point for business owners and leaders to pause and reflect.

Six months ago, many of us set out with clear intentions. Whether those were focused on growth, visibility, expansion, or simply regaining control—January often brings with it renewed ambition and strategic clarity. But now, as summer arrives, it’s time to ask a very real question:

Have you followed through?

For some, the answer is a confident yes. For others, it might be a quieter no—or a hesitant “sort of.” Regardless of where you stand, what matters now is what happens next.

A Personal Reflection: Staying Focused, Staying Present

At Momentum Sales & Marketing, we’ve seen strong, consistent growth so far in 2025. But that hasn’t happened by chance. It’s the result of following a clear, practical strategy built around two core principles:

  • Be present in the right places

  • Focus only on what moves the needle

For me personally, growth this year hasn’t come at the cost of family time or mental space. In fact, quite the opposite. I’ve deliberately created more room to be present with my family while continuing to lead and expand the business. That balance has been key—not only for personal wellbeing but for professional performance too.

What Growth Has Looked Like

Here are some of the specific areas where growth has taken place:

  • Revenue: Turnover is up compared to this time last year

  • Network: Our audience has grown in both numbers and quality, with more referrals, more engagement, and deeper client relationships

  • Visibility: Through consistent LinkedIn activity, podcast guest spots, live events, and client campaigns, our message is reaching further than ever

  • Client Impact: We’ve helped a growing number of businesses align their sales and marketing functions, resulting in measurable improvements in lead flow, conversion, and commercial clarity

One of the biggest highlights of the year so far has been the successful launch of my book: The Glue – Why Sales & Marketing Must Stick Together (purchase here via Amazon)

The book is a distillation of everything I’ve learned over 25 years in business—real, practical, grounded insight into what actually drives commercial growth. The response has been humbling, and it’s already started conversations that I know will lead to meaningful change for many.

The Power of Presence and Partnerships

Momentum’s progress this year has also been supported by a stronger offline presence. As an Ambassador for Hashtag Events, I’ve had the privilege of speaking at and attending a number of live business events across the UK.

These aren’t just networking events. They’re opportunities to learn, collaborate, build genuine relationships, and remain visible within the business community. Offline presence still matters—and it complements our digital strategy in powerful ways.

A Call to Recalibrate

So, where are you now?

If your original 2025 goals have drifted off course, you’re not alone. But you’re also not too late. There are still six months ahead—ample time to reset your priorities, refine your strategy, and execute with clarity and intent.

This is a good time to ask yourself:

  • What’s actually working?

  • Where am I wasting energy?

  • Am I visible to the people who matter?

  • Is my sales and marketing strategy aligned—or am I just reacting?

And most importantly—what am I going to do with the next 180 days?

Support That Drives Results

At Momentum, we work with business owners who want more than theory. We’re not here to sell big ideas—we’re here to implement smart, practical solutions that generate real traction.

If you need strategic input, commercial clarity, or a team that actually gets things done, let’s talk.

Your second half of 2025 can outperform your first.
